Throws Update from the winter

This year we have had so many high standard of Throws athletes that we have managed an Herculean task of getting every Thrower into the UK Rankings
Athletes are;

Maisy Harvey (u15)
3kg Hammer 35.97m PB (25th in uk, 19th England, 1st in south west and south west champion)

Hannah Kolic (u15)
3kg Hammer 32.86m PB (48th in uk, 37th in England, 5th in the south west and welsh schools finalist)

Mellisa Kolic (u17)
3kg Hammer 39.33m PB (66th in uk, 57th in England, 9th in the south west and 3rd south west)

Mia Bishop (u13)
3kg Hammer PB of 24.74m)

Hope Adams (u15)
3kg Hammer ( 1st year of training with a PB of 20m)

Xenia Bennett (u15)
1kg Discus 23.71PB (107th in the UK, 83rd in England, 7th in the south west)

Lauren Bennett (u13)
2.72kg shot 8.46pb

Tille Westwood
500g javelin 31.66PB (54th in the UK, 44th in England, 6th in the south west)

William Compton (u15)
4kg Hammer 25.46PB (113th in the UK, 95th in England, 12th in the south west)

These athletes have all competed to a very high standard this summer season constantly competing against different clubs and county’s.

Most recently we had the south west championship finals where;
Maisy Harvey won the u15 hammer competition with a throw of 35.97m
Melissa Kolic came 3rd in the u17 Hammer with a throw of 39.33m
Tillie Westwood came 3rd in javelin and 2nd in discus.

Welsh Schools;
Hannah Kolic came 3rd in the U15 hammer with throw of 32.86m
Tillie Westwood came second in the 4x100m welsh schools

Coach Andrew Compton has been very impressed with the commitment and work load of all the junior athletes and is looking forward to a active winter season and hopeful helping the athletes progress and develop in the summer.
