U11 Girls take Gold at Gloucestershire Cross Country League

The U11 girls stormed to victory in the final race of the season at Tewkesbury to take the Gloucestershire Cross Country League Title!

Beth led the team home in 2nd place followed by Katie 8th, Eleanor 9th, Lily 20th, Selbe 25th, Emma 27th, Harriet 28th.
Forest of Dean AC were equal on points with North Somerset AC going into the last race and needed a good result to take the Gold. A fantastic achievement particularly considering there were 11 competing teams on the day (16 over the season).

In the U11 boys, solid performances by Carl 13th, Drew 15th, Freddie 18th, Jensen 24th and Robert 41st helped to secure a comfortable 4th place on the day and over the season amongst a strong field of 10 teams on the day (17 over the season).

Thanks and Congratulations to you and the other U11′s who have represented the club over the season. I’m so proud of you and all you have achieved this winter. Also, a big thank you to all the coaches and parent helpers for the hard work you have put in to help develop such a talented group of young athletes.
